Deputy General Manager Lu Jun of State Grid Anhui Electric Power Information & Telecommunication Company Visits Our School for Exchange

On April 29, 2025, our school held an exchange symposium with State Grid Anhui Information & Telecommunication Company (hereinafter referred to as the "ITC Company") in Room A706 of the Science and Education Building. The meeting was attended by 17 representatives from ITC Company, including Deputy General Manager Lu Jun, heads of the technology management and business departments, and key innovation personnel. From our school, attendees included Division Director-level Organizer He Qingling, Vice Dean Wu Gongqing, Director of the Innovation Practice Center Wei Xing, Director of the Department of Intelligent Science Jia Wei, and other relevant faculty members. The meeting was chaired by Vice Dean Wu Gongqing.

At the symposium, Division Director-level Organizer He Qingling delivered an opening speech to welcome the guests. Vice Dean Wu Gongqing provided an overview of our school’s development history, faculty strength, discipline construction, research teams, talent cultivation, and graduate employment. Subsequently, Deputy General Manager Lu Jun introduced the company’s general profile, with a particular focus on its current developments and challenges in the field of information and communication technology (ICT). He emphasized that with the continuous advancement of the power system, the demand for ICT is growing increasingly urgent. He expressed hope for collaborative exploration of new technologies and applications with our school to enhance the intelligentization of the power system. Faculty representatives from our school then reported on their current research directions and progress. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge research trends in the ICT field.

Our school and ITC Company jointly expressed their intention to collaborate on scientific research, address critical industry challenges, and cultivate high-level research achievements. Both parties agreed that through deep cooperation, they could leverage their complementary strengths to jointly promote innovation and development in ICT.

The successful convening of this exchange symposium has laid a solid foundation for deeper collaboration between our school and ITC Company. Both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening communication and cooperation to jointly advance ICT innovation and development, contributing to the intelligent and modern evolution of the power system.
